Tom
Evans moved to Jackson Hole during the fall of 1978. Tom started in the
real estate brokerage business in 1986 working with BBC Real Estate and
then later becoming a partner. In 1996 Tom was recruited by Jackson Hole
Realty and at that time he joined as a partner and shareholder. Tom served
as a member of the Board of Directors and later chaired the Administration
Department of the largest brokerage firm in the valley. In 2003 Sothebys
International Realty purchased the Assets and Business of Jackson Hole
Realty and Tom is an associate broker working out of a branch office in
Teton Pines.
Tom enjoys developing property and participating in joint ventures with
many of his clients and friends. In particular Toms interest has
focused towards commercial properties in Jackson. Most recently Tom participated
in the Smiths/Eagle Village project south of the town of Jackson where
a mixed use of residential and commercial were built and sold. Tom just
completed and sold a spec home in the Willowbrook Subdivision and he is
participating in another joint venture building a spec home in the Indian
Springs Ranch Subdivision.

Tom
and his wife, Andrea have two children, Ashley and Alicia. Ashley graduated
from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte where she obtained
a degree in International Business and Spanish. She is married and living
in Fairfield, California where she is working in downtown San Francisco
and living with her husband, Mike DiPrisco. Mike graduated from the Air
Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado and is now flying for the
military stationed out of Travis Air Force Base. Alicia is in 6th grade
at the Jackson Hole Middle School. She is on the Jackson Hole Ski Team
and is joining the Jackson Hole Swim Team this next year.
The Evans clan spends a great deal of time in Grand Teton National Park
camping, fishing and rejuvenating their love for the valley. Tom occasionally
will guide big game hunters into Teton Wilderness on hunting and fishing
trips for Elk, Deer, Moose and Big Horn Sheep. Fishing and or Pack
Trips into the back country remind me of why I live here. I call it my
paid vacation. No telephones and away from the office where Grizzly Bears
are abundant and the occasional Wolf pack or Mountain Lion will get your
heart rate up. I love to fish and I spend a lot of time in the summer
on Jackson, Yellowstone and Fremont Lakes.
